Meetings
Nothing beats a face-to-face meeting. At HI Design, we do all we can to ensure you meet the right people and we provide a focused environment, free from distractions so your meetings are as productive as possible.
One month before the event we ask you to select your meetings. You will be given a password to access the delegate area of the HI Design website. There you will find detailed profiles on all confirmed attendees. We ask both buyers and suppliers to provide as much relevant information as they can. This information should be read carefully and used to make a fully informed choice of the people you would most like to meet. Suppliers select the 20 buyers they would most like to meet and the buyers nominate their 'top 20' suppliers. Your meeting requests are prioritised 1 to 20.
Your personalised meetings schedule is then produced. Our system ensures your schedule is the most effective combination possible of Buyer and Supplier requested meetings. You will have 3 types of meeting: your own requests, those requested by other delegates who want to meet you and those where you have both asked to meet each other. These will be indicated on your provisional meetings schedule which you will receive and be able to approve 1 week before the event.
The confirmed delegate lists are only available to other confirmed attendees as they contain full contact details. This, of course, provides an excellent opportunity to open up the communication lines as appropriate before the event.
Four sessions of meetings are conducted over the two business days of the event. Each meeting lasts 20 minutes with a five-minute break in-between. Each buyer delegate has a designated table which Suppliers go to, according to their meetings schedule.
Remember, your personalised meetings schedule is just one of the many opportunities you will have to meet the other attendees over the course of the event.
