Synchronized swimming classes at The Berkeley.
19th June 2012
Whilst most Olympic themed hotel packages are focused on the hotel’s food and drink offerings, the Berkeley is going one better and creating an actual sporting package. The luxury hotel located in the swish Knightsbridge area in addition to featuring one of the best hotel gyms, is also offering its guests synchronized swimming lessons in the roof top pool.
The hotel has teamed up with the award-winning British synchronised swimming team Aquabatix to create 90 minute classes which are suitable for people of all levels. The classes will teach people the key skills of the Olympic sport including the ‘egg beater kick’ and ‘sculling’ finishing with a full choreographed routine to music.
The classes kick off on 4th July and run weekly for four weeks from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Lets hope the weather holds up and if not there’s always the indoor pool. Classes cost £125 and are also open to non-guests but if you do find yourself in need of a rest after the workout the 5 star hotel has 157 rooms to choose from and one of the best London hotel spas.
